Privacy Policy
Last updated June 2026. This describes what we collect and your choices. It’s written to be plain and accurate, not exhaustive legalese.
What we collect
- Account data — your name, email, and authentication details.
- Content you upload — pitch decks and data-room documents.
- Investor & pipeline data — contacts you add (name, firm, email, notes).
- Viewer tracking — when someone opens a shared link: the email they enter (if gated), pages viewed, and time per page. This is analytics for the link owner; viewers are told before opening that the document is tracked. We do not collect viewer IP addresses. We do detect whether a view came from an AI agent (vs a human) and store only a coarse label (e.g. “Claude”) — never the raw browser/user-agent string.
- Billing — handled by Stripe; we store a customer/subscription reference, not card details.
How we use it
To provide the product: host and render your documents, show engagement analytics to the owner of a link, manage your pipeline and updates, process billing, and send service and notification emails. We do not sell personal information.
Subprocessors
We rely on these providers to run Raiz’d:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and document storage.
- Vercel — application hosting.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Resend — transactional and update emails (when enabled).
- Integrations you explicitly connect (e.g. Slack, Google, QuickBooks) receive only the data needed for that integration.
Your rights
Export and deletion are self-serve: in the app, Settings → “Export my data” downloads everything we hold as JSON, and “Delete account” permanently removes your account and data. You can also email privacy@raizd.xyz. If you’re in the EU/UK or California, you have rights under GDPR/CCPA including access, correction, deletion, and (for GDPR) portability and objection. We don’t sell personal information. Customers needing a processor agreement: see our Data Processing Addendum.
Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. Deleting your account (Settings, or on request) removes your documents and stored files, links, sessions, analytics, and pipeline data.
